diy crackers

I found this great recipe at The Trendy Treehouse

                                                                                                                                                                             What you will need...

  • 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 6 oz. shredded cheddar cheese (be creative and use Jack or both)
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • Bowl
  • Clean solid surface for rolling
  • knife (let mom and dad use this)
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Baking Sheet
  • Cooking Spray

What to do...

  • Preheat the oven to 325˚F.
  • Mix together the flour and salt.
  • Stir in the cheese.
  • Then stir in the melted butter until cheese dough is firm.
  • Wrap in Plastic Wrap & chill for 30 min. This makes the dough easier to work.
  • Roll the chilled dough into long ropes.
  • Cut ropes in 1/4 in. pieces.
  • Place them on a lightly greased baking sheet keeping them about an inch apart. (take a fork and poke each cracker. You can also form them into squares if you like, just work them with your fingers, this is fun for kids too!)
  • Bake each batch for 20-25 min. until lightly toasted on the bottoms of the crackers. Also make sure the tops of the crackers are firm to touch.
  • Take them out to cool and then enjoy

look what gannon learned how to do!

He learned how to TIE HIS SHOES! He

brought me his babydoll from upstairs to show me the knot he tied on it jacket, then I asked him if he would like to learn how to tie his shoes…so we sat down and practiced for awhile and then he tied them! He got a little mixed up when it came to pulling the loops but it all worked out(even if they were a little lopsided). Enjoy the pics!

Gannon loves to swing in his swing…he likes to go “over the bar” . I love watching him because his giggle while swinging is so genuine.

These are the times that I will cherish most…time with just Gannon and me not working. When I am at my parents house I only work after Gannon goes to bed, during the day when I am not shooting Gannon and I have SO much fun…

Taken in my parents backyard while standing in Gannon’s fort. Something about it seems so relaxing to me…the sunsets out there are AMAZING!
